Faery Goth: 'Druid Coat' at Alienskin Clothing

I confess I have some reservations about this coat, but for some reason I kept returning to the page over and over and therefore decided to post it, what the heck. It's highly impractical, of course, especially in white (there are other options available), and a bit silly, perhaps, the way porcelain dolls and plush toys often are.

Still, I know some people fancy this aethereal style and, execution-wise, you'll find no complaints from me in the construction. Unlike most floor-length coats, it's quite flattering on the body, too.

It is good to keep in mind that there are other ways of being alt cute than going Lolita.

  1. In black, with UV green piping, it's also a good way of not freezing to death while wearing things of a skimpy PVC cyber nature underneath (especially if you're comfortable being a PVC clad cyber in a club full of like-minded individuals, but less comfortable being a PVC clad cyber in public). It does come almost into the category of sci-fi cosplay/LARP gear, but I think it is well executed enough to not be "costume"-y any more than any other particularly unusual bit of goth gear.
